Construction Update – 11/30

The past month has been one of the most exciting since we’ve started building here in Stratford. The fermentors are full, the sound of bottles moving along the bottle line can be heard and the finishing touches are being applied to our tasting room. And if you’re driving by lately, you can even see we have our name on our building.

Brewmaster Phil Markowski has been busy lately brewing our four year round beers: A Double IPA with tons of hop character, a balanced White IPA, a mouth-watering Saison and a Dry-Hopped Pilsner.

Phil has also created two specialty beers as well. Our Holiday Ale, which is a Biere de Garde (a malty French farmhouse ale) and a Rye Russian Imperial Stout that will be aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels and should be available in February. At an ABV of over 10%, that’s one “stout” Russian Stout.

Look for our four year-round beers at your local stores or in your favorite bars starting mid December.

Our tasting room will be ready to open soon (our incredibly fun Stratford building inspector is working with us to obtain our Certification of Occupancy. They are doubly motivated because they can’t wait to drink some of our fine beers!) –we’ll post the date here and on Facebook so please check back often.

IGOR BOTTLES SOLD OUT

We sold all 999 bottles in three hours! It was such a fun day and we are glad everyone enjoyed themselves. It was als0 great to have the Sikorsky sons with us signing bottles. What a treat! Cheers and we’re already looking forward to next year’s release.
